Vaccination Advocate Program

Vaccination is the single most important action we can take to protect our patients and our communities from infectious diseases.   Healthcare personnel play a critical role in vaccination and that role begins when we share information regarding the importance and the benefits of vaccination and serve as a champion for vaccination and disease prevention.

Purpose and Goals of the Program:

The Vaccine Advocate Program is design to provide healthcare workers with education and training regarding vaccines and vaccination programs and enable them to develop competence in the areas of recommendations, handling, and administration of vaccines and serve as a vaccine champion in their practice setting.
