History of the Research Forum

For more than ten years, clinicians, researchers, and educators have come together to share interests in respiratory infections and share innovative approaches to treatment and research questions. 

The Research Forum has enjoyed support from industry, academia, and the National Institutes of Health with each recognizing the importance of collaboration.  Recent collaborators include representatives from pharma, UpToDate, and Google.

IRIS 2024 Research Forum:  Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

In May, 2024 more than 50 national and international clinicians, researchers, and collaboration partners came together to share information, insight, research questions, and current activities in the fields of pneumonia, respiratory infection, and artificial intelligence.
